  I am very displeased in the manner that Vista VW conducts sales. I went to trade in my existing Passat to upgrade to a newer model and the salesman Eric that I spoke to was very friendly, however he insisted on running my credit even before I had chosen a vehicle. Though I showed him on my credit karma app that my credit was excellent he insisted it would be a soft inquiry that wouldn't affect my credit score. I told him I have worked very hard in maintaining an excellent score and didn't want my credit run until I had at least chosen the vehicle I wanted to pursue. Well after much debate I caved and low and behold there is now a hard inquiry on my credit report that dropped my score about 20 points.
  
  I did end up finding the car I wanted and after much negotiation with Eric was not able to agree to a sales # that worked with my budget. He insisted that he would fight to get me the deal and that I would be driving the car at the price I wanted by the end of the week. About a week later a random customer service rep called to see how my experience was and I told them Eric had not followed up with me as discussed. After another 4-5 follow up calls from customer service as well as the sales manager no one was able to give me any info as far as the salesman Eric that helped me while at the dealership or even had any knowledge about the car I wanted. After that I never heard back from anyone at the dealership. I've never gotten my vehicle serviced here so I can't comment on that but I would definitely not recommend this dealership for sales.
